Cygnus has partnered with Enterprise Knowledge, LLC to create and maintain a Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) literature content management system (CMS) for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA's National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD) system is fully customizable and provides access to full-text search capabilities, public search interface, statistical reporting options, integrated automated indexing, and thesaurus management functions. NCPTSD's online Published International Literature on Traumatic Stress bibliographic database, formerly PILOTS, now called PTSDpubs, contains more than 56,000 metadata records for journal articles, dissertations, government reports, and books with full-text PDFs for ~2,500 NCPTSD-authored articles. The cutting-edge automated indexing and thesaurus management software is integrated with the CMS to significantly improve the quality and quantity of indexing.
