Preparing written scientific materials.
Cygnus provided assistance to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) staff in preparing scientific written materials for a variety of purposes on a variety of topics. We supplied the following:
- Basic editorial services such as technical editing, copyediting, and proofreading scientific and technical manuscripts and monographs;
- Developing graphic artwork, design and layout of documents, and production of visual aids such as overheads or PowerPoint slides;
- Researching and writing professional and technical papers and/or articles that reflect accurate scientific data and articulate CDC’s position on key issues and concerns.
- Papers may highlight successful CDC programs and may be targeted for publication in peer reviewed publications; and
- Interviewing, researching, and writing material in a journalistic style for placement in magazines, newspapers, etc.
