Training and design of presentation materials.
This project supported the National Institute of General Medical Science (NIGMS) in maintaining a centralized file of slides used in presentations by myriad staff. Cygnus identified off-the-shelf software that provided a means to organize slides and to make them available to all NIGMS staff and installed the software on the NIGMS Intranet.
Cygnus’ publications team developed a design template in PowerPoint and then created approximately 150 slides in the design template, all in compliance with Section 508 guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, Cygnus staff developed training guides for using the slide library software and for creating new slides according to NIGMS standards, and led on-site training sessions.
