Managing selected meetings, site selection, and contract negotiations.

Cygnus provided conference management services to select meetings of the Leukemia Society of America (LSA), now known as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).

We served as the local liaison and coordinator for the LSA Progress to Cure meeting for 60 participants, including leading lymphoma and leukemia experts as well as federal officials and congressional leaders. Cygnus staff located a meeting facility; negotiated the contract; made all arrangements for meeting rooms, equipment, and guest rooms; organized meals, breaks, and a reception; and provided on-site logistical assistance.

Cygnus tracked registration for LSA’s Conference on Clinical and Societal Issues in Blood and Marrow Transplantation for Hematologic Diseases and its 200 attendees. We prepared meeting packets for on-site distribution; coordinated speaker logistics and audiovisual requirements; compiled and printed an abstract book; coordinated all meeting requirements with the facility; provided on-site logistical assistance; prepared a final participant list and speaker thank-you letters; and reviewed and confirmed all hotel invoices before forwarding to LSA.
