Updating the Nation on alcohol research.
Cygnus prepared the 9th Special Report to the U.S. Congress on Alcohol and Health (A&H IX). This 350-page report summarized and disseminated current research and knowledge about alcohol abuse and alcoholism and was the premier method the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) used to update the Nation about ongoing progress in the field of alcohol research; audiences included congress, researchers, educators, practitioners, patients, and the public.
In addition to managing the review process, providing substantive editing, producing the report and translating it into plain language, Cygnus also developed and implemented a marketing plan to ensure the intended audiences were reached.
