H. Kim, Ph.D.

Dr. Hee Chul Kim is a skilled biomedical Indexer who has been working on Cygnus MEDLINE contracts for the National Library of Medicine, NIH for the past decade. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Dr. Kim has been awarded at least a dozen patents as a result of his distinguished research career, and has published many articles and presented numerous abstracts which document these accomplishments.

Dr. Kim’s career as a scientist includes his work for Korea Green Cross Corporation, which, during his tenure as Head of Research, developed the world’s second varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine and began the research for the fourth recombinant factor VIII named GREENGENE™, which has now become available for patients with Hemophilia A.

Since his past experience also included having been awarded a Fellowship with the Laboratory of Cellular Development and Oncology at NIH and returning as a Visiting Scientist to The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, we were happy that he once again returned to this area and chose to rejoin his work with NIH by signing on to the Cygnus Team.
